In the last few days I came across two additional articles describing worship in the evangelical church.  The first was published way back in 1995 by my friend, Darryl Hart.  Talk about being ahead of the times!  It was published by another friend, Scott Clark.

Hart: “Contemporary Worship” Is The Triumph Of Summer Youth Camp

The second article was written by Roger Olson, a person I have never met but who I know through interviews conducted on The White Horse Inn.  Roger is a proud evangelical, and is also at odds with my tradition (Presbyterian and Reformed).  Yet his analysis of contemporary worship is spot-on.  Though he might be a little late at arriving to the view of D.G. Hart (and others), his comments are welcome.  May God grant repentance where it is needed.
